FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
IS A HEAT PUMP RIGHT FOR ME?
Whether you own, rent or lease, a Heat Pump can be a fantastic addition to any household. Not only can a Heat Pump cool and heat your house, our wall-split Hitachi Heat Pumps also include a Wasabi Nano Titanium air purifying filter which employs naturally anti-bacterial wasabi to help remove nasty airborne viruses, allergens, mould spores and unpleasant odors, providing healthier air for a healthier home.
WHAT SIZE HEAT PUMP DO I NEED?
Choosing a Heat Pump usually depends on the size and layout of the room you are looking to install it into. Generally speaking, you want to have the closest fit for the space you are looking to heat/cool, as this will determine not only the initial cost of the installation but running costs and efficiency of the unit down the track. Using the chart located under the installation tab, you will be able to determine the best fit for your home.
Keep in mind you are not limited to one heat pump per house.
While most installs are done in the largest living area of the house, you might also consider installing one of our smaller units into a bedroom or hallway to assist with heating/cooling the other half of your home. If you have any questions about which one to choose, feel free to get in touch and we can recommend a model to keep your home feeling cool and comfortable for years to come.
We indicate what size room each of our heat pumps are suited for on the Our Products page.
